Boxer Rescue Profile

Although Boxers are a very popular breed, there is still a need for a rescue service that can place adult dogs in loving and appropriate new homes. Many people don't have the time and resources to do this. We love this challenging yet rewarding side of our lives with Boxers, and have spent time with some absolutely great dogs of all ages, that needed a new family through no fault of their own.

We keep a waiting list of those people who are hoping to adopt an older dog, and these people must meet our very strict criteria. Most have previously owned and loved a Boxer before. Details such as ages of children, other pets in the family, number of hours spent at work etc, are recorded to allow us to match available dogs with their new family.

Dogs are given up for many reasons, but as we said before, it is hardly ever their own fault. We have sometimes had to rescue dogs from pounds, and usually don't know their background history, but all have been successfully settled with new owners.

If you are interested in adopting a Boxer, please feel free to phone us, but please also be aware that there are always more people on the waiting list than there are dogs in need of a home, therefore being on this list, in no way guarantees that there will be a Boxer available.

Since going to her new home in Broome, Roxy has exchanged her football for a coconut! A feisty girl but loving, she settled in well with James and family.

A lovely mature dog, he was taken in by Lauren and family, very committed Boxer enthusiasts, who had previously rescued another older male that lived his last few years in great comfort. Hooch has taken over the best furniture of course.

Boss was run over by a bus and taken in by a vet clinic. He had extensive injuries, especially to his back legs, but they nursed him through and then sought our help to find him a home.

He is now loved by Karen and family, he has overcome all the injuries, and now runs around like a typical Boxer.
